Once an unusual formation on a rock has been noticed. A closer look shown me a starfish looking so unfresh, that firstly I thought of it being dead for a while. Yet, an even closer look discovered that the starfish is not only alive happily, but has a fine appetite as well, — "the corpse" was occupied with digesting a Patella snail.

The specie looks quite similar to Conscinasterias tenuispina.
