Almost all kinds of temperate Mediterranean seabed are to be found in our marvellous Bay by a diver armed with a mask and a snorkel. We enter the water and start our off-shore excursion along the right promontory, heading to the bay's outlet.
The floor here is formed by rounded flat monolith blocks smoothly ground by the waves. Thoroughly warmed up shallow water is populated by littoral and sublittoral sunlight-requiring species and gives shelter to juvenile fish, runs of Mugil cephalus flathead grey mullet upon the tidy carpet of Padina pavonica.
