Nonpoisonous, unlike it's Pacific relatives, Conus mediterraneus cone shellfish prefers the dusky tranquility of the caves too, so on the open space (like this one) it can't be seen often.

Bellow: a foramen drilled by a murex snail (that we will observe on the next page) can be seen at the narrow whorls at the top part of the attacked cone.
