Some Nudibranchia have accommodated to keep undigested chloroplasts and whole plastids of the algae they feed on. Some others live in symbiosis with brown unicellular algae.
In both cases the photosynthesis occurs right inside the slug providing mollusc's organism with nutrients, so it becomes "solar powered".
